Trump Files Major Lawsuit Against CBS News Over Explosive ’60 Minutes’ Controversy

The journalism failure heard around the globe. CBS News’ “60 Minutes”, a long-running CBS News show, interviewed Democrat Presidential nominee Kamala Harri in early October. However, it presented two versions of the interview. One of the answers was edited to make it appear as if she had been deceitfully answering a question about Israel.

CBS has yet to release either the uncut footage or the transcript.

Donald Trump has taken action and is suing the network in a massive 10 billion dollar lawsuit, “stating that the network engaged in ‘deceptive behavior’ to interfere with the election in its interview of Vice President Kamala Haris.”

The lawsuit filed on Thursday alleges that the network interfered with elections and voters.

The Trump lawyers said that the complaint was filed due to CBS’s partisan and illegal acts of election and voting interference through malicious deceptive and substantial news distortion calculated to confuse, deceive, and mislead the public.

Trump’s attorneys also claimed that the edits were made to “trim the scales to the Democratic Party, as the heated Presidential Election of 2024 — which is being led by President Trump — nears its conclusion.”

The GOP candidate has repeatedly expressed his disapproval of CBS’s slippery tactics on the campaign trail and even suggested that they should lose their license to broadcast:

Former President says the scandal has hurt him significantly:

The lawsuit claims that “President Trump brought this action to redress the immense harm CBS’s deceptive conduct caused him, his campaign, and tens of millions of Americans living in Texas and throughout America.”

The lawsuit was filed after Trump’s lawyers wrote to CBS News to demand that the network release the complete transcript of Harris’ “60 Minutes interview” after the network aired different answers to the same question. CBS was asked by Trump’s attorneys to keep all communications and documents related to the interview in case of a legal dispute.

In a letter sent to CBS News by Trump’s lawyer, the network was accused of “intentionally misleading the public” with a carefully edited transcript. The aim, according to the letter, was to confuse the electorate about Vice President Kamala Harris’s intelligence and appeal.

Accountability is on the way!

Release the full, uncut interview!

CBS’ credibility has been severely damaged, and it is unclear if they will ever be able to regain it or gain the trust of the public. The American public’s confidence in the media has also been weakened. The majority of Americans believe that the media lies to them the vast majority of the time. This bizarre incident confirms this belief.
