15-Year-Old Student Named as Suspect in Madison Shooting Incident

After the tragic school shooting that occurred on Monday at Abundant Life Christian School, in Madison, Wisconsin officials held several press conferences to provide information about the incident, the victims, and the suspected shooter.

As the investigation began, officials initially kept the identity of the shooter a secret. Madison Police Chief Shon Barsh revealed at the afternoon press briefing that the suspect shooter, a teen student, was among the three dead. He also said that he was already deceased when law enforcement arrived at the scene.

Barnes said at the time that the home of the suspect shooter was or had been searched, which indicated that authorities were in contact with them and that the family was cooperating with the investigations.

We now have more information on the suspect shooter. Natalie Lynn Rupnow, 15, is the suspected shooter. Andy Ngo reports on the details of the suspected shooter at X:

Breaking: I can report that the deceased mass shooter at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisc. is a 15-year-old girl named Natalie Lynn Rupnow.

According to a reliable source, she carried out the shooting spree in the school’s library. She didn’t identify as trans.

The girl went online under the name “Sam”, and used the username “crossixir.” She was obsessed with school shootings and deaths, especially the 1999 Columbine High School massacre. Rupnow is a huge fan of KMFDM, whose music was referenced by a Columbine shooter. She often wore a shirt from the band.

Rupnow’s friends on the internet identified the X-account, which was purportedly owned by the shooter shortly after the news of the shooting broke. The last image posted by the account was an “okay” symbol of a hand in the bathroom near the library, minutes before the shooting.

Ngo provided additional information about Rupnow’s purported manifesto.

Natalie Lynn Rupnow, 15, is the female student responsible for the shootings at Abundant Life Christian School. Two people were killed: a teacher and a student. Six other people were injured, including two who suffered life-threatening injuries.

On her Discord page, a purported “sneak peek” of her manifesto appeared. She discussed her desire to kill males as part of a rant influenced by fringe extremist culture online. A screenshot of her Discord account was posted by a friend. This account also posted Rupnow’s mirror selfie.

Rupnow’s online obsession with school shootings and death is disturbing. She went by the online moniker “crossixir”.

Rupnow has a Cash App account with a picture showing the Columbine Shooters. She also had a “Watch People Die”, where she posted comments on videos. Her Spotify playlists were dominated by themes related to suicides and killings.

This story is developing. As new information becomes available, we will provide updates.
