Melania Trump has launched $MELANIA meme coin in response to her husband’s new cryptocurrency.
Melania Trump posted on the social platform X on Sunday, “The Official Melania Meme is live! You can buy $MELANIA now”.
The website describes “Melania Memes” as “fungible cryptocurrency assets created and monitored on Solana’s blockchain.”
Melania coin was created in response to President-elect Trump’s recent embrace of cryptocurrency and its surrounding community. He has also created his cryptocurrency.
“My NEW Official Trump Meme is HERE! It’s time to celebrate everything we stand for: WINNING! Join my very special Trump Community. GET YOUR $TRUMP NOW,” the president-elect posted Friday on Truth Social.
Trump had previously called cryptocurrency a scam, but he accepted it on the campaign trail as a payment method. Trump became the first candidate to accept digital currencies.
