Drama in D.C.: Zelensky Responds After White House Boot

Following the humiliation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who was expelled from the White House for disrespecting the United States at the Oval Office, he made a short statement about the incident on X. He wrote:

Zelensky, how exactly do you work for a just and lasting peace? He could have signed a deal to reimburse the American public for the money we gave Ukraine in the past three years. Instead, he marched in wearing workout clothes to the Oval Office and tried to influence President Trump and Vice-President Vance before the cameras. When a reporter asked him why he didn’t wear a suit, he gave a snobby answer.

Zelensky continued to persist, even though Trump and Vance had given him numerous opportunities to change his attitude. It may be a good idea for people like Adam Kinzinger or Liz Cheney but not for those of us who put America first and value peace.

What now? Fox News reported that White House staffers ate Zelensky’s lunch after he left (literally and not figuratively). Zelensky was still interviewing Fox News Channel’s Bretbaier at the time this article was published. We’ll have to see if it holds.
