We previously reported on the disturbing news of chat logs from the NSA’s government messaging program. These showed that NSA, CIA, and FBI personnel discussed some disturbing lurid subjects including transgender sex subjects and “wide-ranging discussions of sex, kink, polyamory, and castration.”
All NSA employees have signed agreements stating that posting non-mission material on Intelink constitutes a violation of usage and will lead to disciplinary action.
The CIA has responded to these reports:
Liz Lyons, Director of Public Relations for the CIA said, “Messages supposedly involving a CIA Official are unacceptable and do not belong at the Agency. The CIA is taking immediate action in this matter, which further demonstrates the need for reform.”
The NSA has acknowledged that there is a problem with people who use the system, and they are taking steps to fix it.
An NSA spokesperson responded to the report by saying, “The agency placed a tremendous amount of trust in those who were allowed to use the government system. All systems are expected to comply with the laws and policies that have been posted. We continue to investigate this issue. We are taking action against all employees who have abused the system.”
Chris Rufo revealed that there will be more revelations.
It’s great to have competent leaders who can deal with problems. All of this was happening under Joe Biden and either they were unaware or didn’t care. The fact that this was happening raises many questions as to how many people are involved. This is yet another reason to be concerned about our intelligence agencies. They are supposed to act on our behalf, handling sensitive intelligence.
What else could they do if they did this? This is just one more example of how we need to reform federal agencies.
