It is worth noting that the Department of Homeland Security has been sued by The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think-tank, to force them to reveal Prince Harry’s Immigration paperwork.
Harry’s status as an immigrant has been criticized recently after the Duke admitted to using marijuana, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms recreationally in his published memoir.
The visa application form specifically requests information about drug usage, both current and previous. Admitting such conduct can lead to a rejection of your application.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, currently reside in Montecito (California).
Last February, Donald Trump claimed that the administration of former president Joe Biden “protected Harry”, adding that he would not do the same thing if he were to win the White House.
Last week, Trump stated that he was “not interested in” Harry being deported.
Trump said to the New York Post, “I didn’t want that. I’ll let him be. “He’s already got enough issues with his wife. She’s terrible.”
Nile Gardiner of The Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at The Heritage Foundation joined “The Hill on NewsNation” to talk about their attempts to get Harry’s Immigration paperwork.
He said: “We are calling for all Prince Harry’s Immigration Records to be released. We believe that the American public has a right to know whether Harry lied in his US Immigration application.”
Heritage Foundation claims that the DHS may have “inappropriately granted” the visa to the member of the royal family after he disclosed his drug usage in his autobiography, “Spare.”
Gardiner stated, “I believe it is important as the application of U.S. Immigration Law matters.” Gardiner said, “No one is above the law. Whether they are a prince or a pauper. Prince Harry might have received special treatment. He may have lied in his application. The rule of law applies to everyone, including Prince Harry.”
The next step in the slow-moving case is to be decided by a federal judge.
Gardiner stated that the Heritage Foundation only called for all documents to be released and didn’t directly address Gardiner’s deportation.
He said that if someone lied on an immigration application, it is a federal crime. Normally, they would either be deported or charged. Prince Harry is at a very dangerous point in his life.
