According to reports, President Donald Trump will host a private dinner at his Mar-a-Lago property in Florida on Friday for “invited Senators and Spouses Only”.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee will hold its annual winter meeting at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. This event begins on Friday and continues through Sunday. The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida is roughly 5 miles up the road from Mar-a-Lago.
ABC News reported the NRSC under the new leadership of Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) broke a fundraising record in January, raising $8.5 million. This helps reduce the $24 million in debts and unpaid bills that the committee has accrued since the election cycle of 2024.
The Republican National Committee paid for Friday’s meal, which continues the Republican pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago. Trump invited scores of House Republicans for strategy meetings to his estate earlier this month. The same week, he also hosted Republican Governors to discuss the 2025 agenda.

The RNC and NRSC are already looking ahead to the 2026 midterm elections to maintain and expand GOP control over Congress. RNC Chair Michael Whatley stated on Monday that midterms began on Jan. 21 – the day following Trump’s inauguration.
Republicans are also looking to fill the seat that will be vacated in Michigan by Democrat Senator Gary Peters who has announced he won’t seek reelection.
