Trump Warns Zelenskyy: ‘You’re Gambling with World War III’ in Heated Oval Office Clash

President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance called Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenskyy disrespectful in their White House meeting on Friday regarding putting an end to the Russia- Ukraine War.

Zelenskyy told Trump that he was disrespecting him by insisting on U.S. commitments for security to protect his country from further Russian aggression.

Trump said, “You are gambling with millions of lives. You’re gambling on World War III. And what you’re committing is disrespectful to this country. This country has backed you more than many people think they should have.”

“Your people have shown great courage, but you must either make a deal, or we are out.” Trump continued, “And if we are out, you will fight it out.”

Zelenskyy sparked Trump’s response by insisting on the fact that Putin’s promises of peace cannot be trusted. He cited his history of broken promises. Trump claimed that Putin had not broken any agreements with him.

Trump said to Zelenskyy, “You need to be more grateful.”

Zelenskyy received a reprimand from Trump after JD Vance, Vice President of the United States and one of its most sceptical voices regarding Ukraine, claimed that Zelenskyy had been disrespectful by debating Trump in the Oval Office before the American media.

Vance asked Zelenskyy, “Have You Said ‘Thank You’ Once?”

Trump also told Zelenskyy how brave the Ukrainian soldiers were, and he urged them to sign an agreement on economic cooperation between their countries.

Trump stated, “It is a huge commitment from the United States.” Trump said that the United States had little of the rare-earth minerals found in Ukraine. He also stated that these resources would be used in the U.S. for artificial intelligence and weapons.

Zelenskyy spoke up for the prospects of liquid natural gas exports into Europe but was not happy when Trump said that Europe had done “much less” to support Ukraine than the United States.

Zelenskyy referred to Putin as a terrorist and a murderer and said that there should be no compromises made with a criminal. He had brought printed photos for Trump to see, but the journalists present could not view them.
