Bombshell: New Leaks Expose Biden White House’s Tight Grip on Press Access

In some ways, it was refreshing to see former Biden-Harris officials admit some uncomfortable truths after the event. However, in others, they were irritated because they could (and should) have spoken out at the time.

Michael LaRosa was one of them. He worked as Jill Biden’s traveling press secretary for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign in 2020. LaRosa was appointed First Lady’s Press Secretary after the former veep of ex-President Barack Obama’s inauguration. However, he resigned from the position in 2022 due to Mrs. Biden’s “breakfast tacos” scandal in San Antonio.

LaRosa made some disturbing admissions since then about what he claims happened in the Biden White House when he was the First Lady’s spokesperson. But it’s his claim that he has made after the Bidens have left office that has raised more eyebrows and led to some “told you so”s.

LaRosa, for example, stated in February, “The President’s Team was terrified to death of unscripted impromptu performances, unrehearsed and unchoreographed acts, as they could not compete with the attention economy.”

He also admitted that he was aware of the age issue from the beginning. He also acknowledged that Biden’s handlers were indeed guilty of “gaslighting”, as people had accused them.

LaRosa went even further in a recent interview, revealing how the lapdog media complied with demands from Biden’s staffers. Some offered up questions that they would ask before the meeting, just to get a chance to meet the President:

LaRosa explained that “one person” from Biden’s staff would decide “what the reporter could use, what quotations they could use” following an interview with the President.

LaRosa claimed that the young Biden staffers who work in the press were also “dog-trained” to force reporters into asking certain questions or divulging their questions before interviews.

It was like being on the campaign in 2020, where these young press staffers were dog-trained to make questions conditional for interviews. “It was like being in the 2020 campaign, when these young press staffers were dog-trained to condition interviews with these questions in states like New Hampshire or Iowa or Nevada,” he said.

You can always ask about the topics, but do not ask them questions for Dr. Biden. You can ask questions about topics but not for Dr. Biden. LaRosa explained that he did not participate in this practice when handling the press for the former First Lady.

Watch:

This is in line with what we’ve seen and read over the past four years Biden served as president and how his handlers went to great lengths to not only limit the access of the press to him but also limit the questions and answers that they were allowed to ask.

A series of incidents comes to mind, including what happened after his disastrous debate performance in June 2024 against then-GOP Presidential nominee Donald Trump. It was revealed that leftist hosts had agreed to ask White House/Biden-approved questions in “interviews”, which were intended to reassure voters and to make his nightmare debate appearance appear to be a one-off.

Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald observed that “the most significant media scandal during the Biden years is how they not only hid what the public already knew — Biden’s severe cognitive decline, to the point where he could no longer govern — but also their aggressive attacks against anyone who pointed it out as being a ‘disinformation agent’.”

It is for this reason that the shrieks of the MSM and their defenders about Trump’s confrontations with certain media outlets such as the Associated Press fall mostly on deaf ears outside the Acela Media cocktail circle. It’s called reaping and sowing.
