After the death of Pope Francis, Donald Trump issued a Proclamation calling for all flags in honor of him to be flown half-staff.
Trump ordered that the flags be flown at half-staff on the day of Trump’s burial at the White House, all federal buildings, grounds, military posts, naval stations, and all naval vessels of the United States, its territories, and possessions.
Trump stated, “I also direct the flag to be flown in half-staff at all United States embassies abroad, legations, consular offices, and other facilities, including all military installations and naval vessels or stations, for the same period of time.”
Pope Francis, who was 88 years old, died on Monday.
