Donald Trump warned Iran on Sunday that if Tehran fails to reach a deal with Washington about its nuclear program, it will face secondary tariffs and bombings. The United States also sent more warplanes into the region.
In response to a question about Iran’s nuclear program and its dangers, the Russian foreign ministry said that Moscow was committed to finding a solution for Iran’s nuclear program while respecting Tehran’s right to peaceful nuclear power.
Maria Zakharova said to reporters that the use of force by Iran’s enemies in the context of the settlement is illegal and unacceptable.
“Attending to bomb Iran’s nuclear infrastructure will lead to irreversible disaster for the entire world. These threats are unacceptable.”

The West accuses Iran of having a secret plan to develop nuclear weapons capability. The West claims that Iran enriches uranium beyond what is acceptable for civil nuclear energy.
Tehran claims that its nuclear program is only for civilian energy.
In the month of January, Russia signed a “comprehensive strategic partnership” with Iran, but it did not include a clause on mutual defense. The agreement states that in the event of a hostile attack against one side, the other party will not aid the aggressor.
Sergei Ryabkov is the deputy foreign minister for Russia. He told Life magazine, “Russia rejects U.S. threats.” Ryabkov said that an attack against Iran could lead to a larger conflict in the Middle East.
Ryabkov said that the consequences of any attacks on nuclear infrastructure would be catastrophic to the entire region.
