Trump’s New Travel Ban on 12 Countries to Take Effect Monday

President Donald Trump is back in action, kicking the dust off his first-term travel ban policy and putting national security back on the map. He signed a proclamation that, come Monday, will prevent people from a dozen countries from waltzing into the United States, just like that.

The countries on the list include Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, and a whole bunch of others that the drive-by media won’t tell you have shady track records when it comes to their attitudes towards America. And that’s not all, folks. We’re also talking about heightened restrictions on visitors from places like Cuba, Venezuela, and a few others.

“I must act to protect the national security and national interest of the United States and its people,” Trump ADMITTED. And why wouldn’t he? It’s his job, after all. And he’s doing it well.

The mainstream media has a habit of forgetting the facts. This isn’t some random list Trump pulled out. It’s based on a comprehensive report on ‘hostile attitudes’ towards the U.S., compiled by the departments of State and Homeland Security and the Director of National Intelligence. These countries pose a national security.

Some of you might remember Trump’s first crack at this in 2017, where he banned travel from seven mostly Muslim countries – Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen. Of course, the liberals lost their minds, crying ‘anti-Muslim bias’, conveniently forgetting that it’s about protecting the country, not religion.

The “Muslim ban”, as the critics like to call it, faced some legal challenges. But a revised version was upheld by the Supreme Court in 2018. It was never about religion. It was about national security. And this new proclamation is about the same – America’s safety first.

When it comes to keeping America safe, President Trump doesn’t mess around. Don’t let the drive-by media convince you otherwise.
