President Donald Trump has just pulled off another masterstroke in trade negotiations, this time with the Philippines. Trump has successfully secured a ‘zero tariff’ deal that will massively boost the export of American goods. And you know what? The Philippines will be shelling out a 19% tariff to export their goods and services to our great nation.
Trump referred to the Philippines’ President, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., as a ‘tough negotiator,’ but it’s clear who came out on top here. Trump posted on Truth Social, “We’ve concluded our trade deal, and the Philippines has gone OPEN MARKET with the United States, with ZERO Tariffs.”
Not only did Trump secure this landmark trade deal, but he’s also leveraged our defense and trade to secure a joint military agreement with the Philippines. ‘In addition, we will work together militarily,’ Trump added. This is critical, folks, especially considering the potential Russian-Iran-North Korean axis power in the region.
This military agreement with the Philippines is not just important for regional security; it’s critical for American national security worldwide.
Let’s celebrate this triumph for American trade, for American security, and for the master negotiator that is President Trump.
