A spokesperson for the DNC has confirmed these events, stating, “This afternoon, there was a bomb threat to DNC HQ that was determined to not be credible by the U.S. Capitol Police.”
Despite the all-clear signal, authorities are exercising abundant caution. The DNC reports that Capitol Police are conducting a thorough interior sweep of the building, ensuring no stone is left unturned in their security assessment.
