In White Bear Lake, Minnesota, a 22-year-old man with a criminal history has been accused of posing as a high school student and joining the school’s football team.
Kelvin Micaiah Luebke, a resident of Lino Lakes, allegedly enrolled at White Bear Lake Area High School under the false identity of “KJ Perry,” a 17-year-old student. School officials confirm that Luebke participated in the school’s football program as a running back for approximately one month before his true identity was discovered.
The school district followed standard enrollment procedures, which require proof of birthdate, address, and immunization records. However, it appears that fraudulent documentation was submitted to circumvent these requirements. The exact method by which this deception was accomplished remains under investigation.

Public records reveal that Luebke has a history of indecent exposure and harassment involving minors. In July of this year, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office documented allegations of inappropriate online contact with a juvenile. Luebke was previously convicted of sending explicit images to a 15-year-old.
This development follows earlier reports that Luebke was adopted from Liberia at the age of five. Sources close to the situation suggest he may suffer from a condition known as age dysphoria and possesses two birth certificates. The significance of this information in relation to the current case is yet to be determined.

This incident has raised important questions about school security and enrollment verification processes. State Representative Elliott Engen, a graduate of White Bear Lake High School, has publicly criticized district leadership, calling for accountability and expressing concern over what he describes as a pattern of troubling incidents in the district.
