Most of Wednesday was spent hearing about the changing debate terms.
Joe Biden agreed to debate only after demanding absurd restrictions like only certain media outlets (the ones that he believes might help him?) Joe Biden only agreed to debate after demanding ridiculous restrictions, like only certain media organizations (the ones he thinks might help him?
CNN announced Jake Tapper and Dana Bash as moderators of the first debate. People wondered if someone would give Biden questions in advance.
Now there’s a new twist in the story. RFK Jr. is speaking up, and he says he qualifies to participate in the CNN debate.

CNN announced the first debate would be open to all candidates who get 15 percent or more in four national polls that qualify and meet certain standards for ballot access. This could mean independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. making it to the stage.
Biden said that he wouldn’t agree to have Kennedy on stage and would also not agree to the Fox debate suggested by Trump.
But RFK Jr. writes on X that he would be qualified.
I am happy to announce that I have met the criteria for participating in the CNN debate by the deadline of June 20. I’m looking forward to holding Biden and Trump responsible for their records on June 27, in Atlanta, to give Americans what they deserve. #KennedyShanahan24
If they keep him out of the picture, it could lead to a lawsuit. Biden could back out if he feels that the event doesn’t meet his terms. His terms are all about controlling the event and limiting risk.
