It is clear that the left wants to use Biden’s trip to Ukraine to help him politically, even at the cost of the truth.
Claire McCaskill, a former Missouri Democrat senator, claimed Monday that while Biden showed “courage” in going to Kyiv (Ukraine), former President Donald Trump was afraid to visit Afghanistan.
McCaskill stated that Donald Trump was afraid of going to Afghanistan when he was compared to him during an interview with Deadline: White House.
McCaskill was unfortunately wrong.
Trump visited Afghanistan in November 2019, to offer Thanksgiving dinner to American troops there. He also visited Iraqi troops the year before.
McCaskill used Biden’s visit to Ukraine as justification for his election.
“Courage is a very important component of a re-elect for Joe Biden, because strength matters. And one of the things that Donald Trump has always done is projected false strength,” McCaskill claimed.
MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace did not correct the record. She repeated the claim that Trump was cowardly and pointed to the time that the Secret Service moved Trump to the White House bunker in the BLM riots in Washington, D.C., in May 2020. 60 Secret Service agents were injured in the riots.
Both claimed that Joe Biden was too afraid to travel to East Palestine, Ohio where Trump is expected to visit Wednesday.
