Biden’s U.N Ambassador Claims ‘White Supremacy’ Is Weaved Into U.S. Documents

During the National Act Network’s 2021 virtual convention, U.S Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield talked about prioritizing efforts to combat racism in the United States, as well as arguing that America’s history of slavery has “weaved white supremacy into our founding documents and principles.” She pointed out they would play an effective role in the United Nations Human Rights Council by first addressing their own challenges.

“When we raise issues of equity and justice at the global scale, we have to approach them with humility/ We have to acknowledge that we are an imperfect union and have been since the beginning. Every day we strive to make ourselves more perfect and more just. In a diverse country like ours, that means committing to do the work. It means learning and understanding more about each other,” Thomas-Greenfield said.

Thomas-Greenfield also claimed that White supremacy led to the “senseless killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmad Arbery and so many other Black Americans.” She adds that this means not forgetting our past or ignoring our present, but keeping both “firmly in mind” as we push for a better tomorrow. She discussed the KKK ‘burning crosses on lawns’ when she was a child and her own experiences of racism growing up in Louisiana.

“I’ve seen for myself how the original sin of slavery weaved White supremacy into our founding documents and principles,” Thomas-Greenfield warned.

The Biden Administration recently rejoined the U.N Human Rights Council in February in efforts to make racial equity a “top priority” across the entire government, as well as a focus on eliminating racial discrimination. Thomas-Greenfield described Biden’s plan to get their country in order before playing an “effective role” on the UN’s Human Rights Council. Any freedom-loving American would immediately recognize that Thomas-Greenfield has no business representing the United States.

Nikki Haley, a former U.N ambassador, ripped into Thomas-Greenfield’s speech for criticizing our country in front of “the world’s worst human rights abusers n& oppressive regimes.” She called Thomas-Greenfield’s claim that White supremacy was “weaved” into the U.S founding documents and principles a “win for our enemies,” adding that America is the freest, fairest country in the world and that we should have no trouble saying that.

Haley previously withdrew from the Human Rights Council under the Trump Administration in 2018, calling it a “cesspool of political bias that makes a mockery of human rights,” including references to China, Russia, Venezuela, and Eritrea.

Newsmax reporter Emerald Robinson asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Friday if President Biden was going to remove Thomas-Greenfield from her position after linking comments in her own speech to an anti-US diatribe by Chinese diplomats last month.

Chinese diplomat Yang Jiechi had lectured Secretary of State Tony Blinken at a summit in Alaska that the United States didn’t have the qualifications to say that it wants to speak to China from a “position of strength.” This had been an obvious mock to Biden’s previous claim that they were operating from a “position of strength.” He went on to say that many people within the United States have “little confidence in the democracy” and that they should change their own image before advancing its democracy in the rest of the world.

“Is the president going to remove an African American woman with decades of experience in the foreign service who’s widely respected around the world from her position as ambassador to the UN? ‘He is not,” Psaki said

Psaki went on to defend Thomas-Greenfield and say that Biden believes she is not only qualified but exactly the right person in the role at this moment in time. She adds that there’s no question there has been a “history of institutional racism in this country” and that it doesn’t require a UN ambassador to confirm that.

Robinson asked Psaki if Biden thinks the nation’s founding documents are racist. She replied that she will leave her comments to “speak for themselves” and that most people recognize the history of systemic racism in our country and she was speaking to that.

As always, Biden is more interested in diversity than putting the most qualified person on the job. Otherwise, he would’ve selected a U.S Ambassador who projects a positive image of America, not somebody who despises it. If America was truly as bad as the left claims, then why is there a crisis at the border and so many people want to come here and live?
