Surprising Twist: Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s Unexpected Future

Published on

The trustees for the Dolton city council may hire former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot. Lightfoot is being hired to investigate Tiffany Henyard, the current worst mayor of America.

Henyard has been sued by the Village trustees over misusing public money. She is accused of taking trips to Las Vegas, and of using Dolton Police as her guard. She is vindictive and targets business owners who don’t support or like her.

The woman begs to have her investigated. Henyard, however, will undoubtedly attack anyone who investigates her. The mayor has intimidated the police, the city council, and anyone who dared to question her authority.

Lightfoot is the perfect person to lead the investigation. Lightfoot is not a weak sister. Anyone who has stood up to Chicago’s power structures can take on a suburban mayor, right?

Chicago Tribune:

Henyard’s critics have accused her of not being upfront about village finances, how funds are spent, and that they have not received a full accounting of Dolton’s financial situation.

They have said that they are contacted often by vendors who perform work for the village but do not receive payment for weeks or even months after the work is complete. They also claim that vendors are hired without their consent at Village Board Meetings.

Henyard’s salary as Dolton Mayor is $46,000 per year. She also works for Thornton Township and earns $224,000 per year.

Lightfoot has been offered a tasty carrot by the trustees. The trustees are offering her $400 per hour to do her job. Lightfoot may need some time to uncover all the schemes and injustices that Henyard committed in the village.

New York Post:

She has also been criticized by her constituents for the mayor’s ostentatious billboards that feature her face all over town, and the “militarization of the local police” against her political rivals.

The board accused her of concealing personal expenses that she paid with village money. Henyard’s administration denied the board’s requests for financial documents over the last year, leaving the board in the dark as to Dolton’s financial state.

Henyard’s veto was issued last month after the village board unanimously passed a resolution to launch the investigation, requesting that she submit financial records for the village.

Brittney Norwood, a member of the Dolton Board Trustee, says that residents consider it “extremely” important to unravel any criminal or malfeasance in Las Vegas.

Norwood, when asked about what she hopes to uncover from the investigation, said: “I still hope that the proper authorities will come and force her to provide us with all the information we should be privy to regarding the village.”

“We are still missing documents and financial information.” “We are hoping someone from the right authorities can come in and force the administration, to be transparent,” she continued.

Residents are particularly upset by Henyard’s practice of plastering billboards with her huge smiling face grinning in their faces.

Can Lightfoot bring her down? Stay tuned.
