Trump Opens “Office of the Former President”

Former President Donald Trump has officially opened his new base “Office of the Former President” in Palm Beach, Florida that will continue managing his correspondence, public statements, and business activities. The logo for the new office is a black-and-white copy of the logo of the Executive Office of the President of the United States.

The Office will be run by former White House aides and advocate for election integrity and public activism across the country, including the use of his influence to campaign for candidates willing to enact his agenda. The announcement of Trump’s new office plans came on the same day that House Democrats delivered an article of impeachment against him to the Senate. They had accused Trump of inciting the riot on the U.S Capitol during the certification of the Electoral College Results.

“The office will be responsible for managing President Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances, and official activities to advance the interests of the United States and to carry on the agenda of the Trump administration through advocacy, organizing, and public activism. President Trump will always and forever be a champion for the American people,” the statement reads.

While some people have hinted at the possibility of another Trump run in 2024, others argued that he will just be working aimlessly to uncover voter fraud and protecting election integrity for all Americans. The Wall Street Journal even suggested that the former president might consider launching a new political party, the “Patriot Party.”

Former Trump adviser Jason Miller has indicated that Trump plans to advocate for election integrity across the country. He wants to win back the House and Senate for Republicans in 2022, especially with Congress under the leadership of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The former president has framed concerns over the roles of executive and judicial branches in setting rules for elections, adding that the radical left continues rigging every aspect they can. “Trump has a number of goals over the next couple of years. You’re going to see him emerge as the nation’s leader on ballot and voting integrity,” Miller said.

Many former presidents have post-presidency offices, such as George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Trump’s Florida office does not appear to have an official website or social media accounts set up yet. Offices for former presidents are paid for by the General Services Administration, as per the Former Presidents Act, and can be set up anywhere in the U.S.

This isn’t different than any other established foundation or Presidential Center set up by a former President, but because Trump did it he’ll be ridiculed for it. The former President has played his cards and is giving back the free flow of media coverage and election integrity, one presidential office at a time.
