Make-A-Wish Announces They Will Only Grant Wishes To Vaccinated Children

The World Health Organization has stated some confusing guidance following their recommendations on children getting vaccinated for COVID-19, which has led to parents fighting back against vaccine mandates.

On a previous version of their site, the WHO wrote that there is not enough evidence on the use of vaccines against COVID-19 in children to make recommendations for them. They never specified what they meant by children, which appeared to differ from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention guidelines. The CDC’s guideline recommends the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine for those ages 12-17.

Vaccine skeptics, such as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, have said that the health risks of the vaccine outweigh the benefits for young people. There has still been no vaccine yet authorized for children under the age of 12.

Soon after, the statement that “children should not be vaccinated” was removed. It was replaced with the claim that “children and adolescents tend to have the milder disease compared to adults.” They wrote that unless they are part of a group at higher risk of severe COVID-19, it is less urgent to vaccinate them than older people, those with chronic health conditions, and health workers. The Who adds that the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is “suitable for use” in ages 12-17.

While parents wait for more data on COVID-19 vaccines and adolescents, some companies are taking advantage of the politically correct language. The Make-A-Wish Foundation recently announced that large gatherings and air travels involving wishes will soon resume – but only for vaccinated children. While children are eligible for wishes up to the age of 18, the Food & Drug Administration has only issued emergency use authorization for Pfizer’s vaccine in those as young as 12.

CEO Richard K. Davis explained in a Twitter video how the foundation will resume granting wishes within the United States for vaccinated Wish families. While they won’t ask for proof of vaccination, they’ll have to sign waives that they understand the “risk of travel” at the time.

“All Wish participants, including your Wish kid and any siblings, will need to be two weeks past completion of either a one dose or a two-dose vaccine. While we won’t ask for proof of vaccination, we’ll ask for any adult participant to sign a letter of understanding that certifies that they, and any minors participating in the Wish, are vaccinated and understand the risk of traveling at this time,” Davis said.

The CEO’s message comes at the same time that the CDC has acknowledged a high incidence of heart inflammation among vaccinated teens. While the CDC insists that everything is fine, an unexpectedly high number of Americans aged 12 to 24 have experienced heart inflammations after receiving their COVID-19 vaccine. The CDC’s vaccine committee even notes that the number of cases of heart muscle inflammation was higher than anticipated and that the vaccine may be a “new trigger for myocarditis.” They insist that patients generally recover from the symptoms and do well.

Doran Fink, deputy director of FDA’s division for vaccines and related products, said that a warning statement in the fact sheet for health care providers and vaccine recipients would be warranted based on the available data.

The Department of Health and Human Services, however, reacted by issuing a statement that the vaccines are safe and effective and that this is an extremely rare side effect for a small number of people. But some have still argued that there’s no need to get the vaccine if you aren’t at great risk.

Former President Donald Trump even discussed the COVID-19 vaccine regarding children and said he doesn’t think they should get it. The people should have the freedom to choose on getting it. “I think people should have the freedom not to get it. They can’t be forced because they do have rights,” Trump told Newsmax host Rob Finnerty.

But according to the ‘woke’ Make-A-Wish, they won’t be scheduling any wishes until the critically ill children and all of their family members have been vaccinated. Nothing like the radical left holding dreams hostage. Don’t forget that the former CEO Jennifer Woodley just plead guilty to a slew of felonies for embezzling over $40,000 from the organization. We should all be a little more skeptical of charities these days.
