Biden Tells Kindergarten Kids That He Avoids The Press & Their Questions

President Joe Biden has been letting the truth slip so much lately there’s no wonder why the press won’t let him speak. President Biden recently took a trip to East End Elementary School in North Plainfield, New Jersey, to talk about his prekindergarten care in his estimated $2 trillion social welfare spending package. While the elementary school kids were playing at their tables, Biden gestured to the reporters and told them something interesting.

“You know, when you’re president— see all these people here, they’re with you all the time — they get to ask you all kinds of questions and you try to figure out how you’re gonna avoid answering them sometimes,” Biden said to the kids.

Biden has had a record of press corps ushering away reporters as they shout questions at him. It was particularly noticeable during the Afghanistan crisis when he ignored or shut down reporters’ questions on it at least seven times. He also famously snapped at CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins, having to later apologize, for a question he answered about Putin.

“I’m not confident I’m going to change his behavior. What the hell? What do you do all the time? If you don’t understand that, you’re in the wrong business,” President Biden snapped.

In speeches on Aug. 16, Aug. 18, Aug. 23, Aug. 24, and Aug. 31, Biden quickly walked away from reporters regarding remarks on the Afghanistan withdrawal and Hurricane Ida. He even told a reporter at FEMA once that he was “not supposed to take questions but go ahead.”

In one press conference, Biden was even seen walking off the stage and then returning to take questions. Telling elementary school kids that avoiding the media questions is a “big part” of his job despite campaigning all last year on transparency and bringing the press together. He even shared with the American people back in April that he would be “The most transparent president in history. Period.”

Biden has also repeatedly been criticized for losing his patience with reporters, including one time where he responded to a question at the Taliban by telling the reporter that “I don’t trust…you.” In another instance, Biden replied to CBS reporter Bo Erickson about a Hunter Biden question by saying “right up your alley” and “those are the questions you always ask.”

Lately, the President has refused to answer questions on the disappointing September jobs report, the historically high inflation, and the supply chain crisis backing up docks across the nation. Many critics note how his continued lockdowns and mandates have brought “financial damage” to the American economy, yet he has refused to take any responsibility for it.

While Biden was there to promote his Build Back Better infrastructure agenda, it’s clear that he has limited media access and a teleprompter script for a reason. He has repeatedly talked about calling on journalists from pre-approved lists and being instructed not to answer questions.

Former President Donald Trump was somehow the enemy of the press when all he did was answer questions honestly and out in the open. Biden has been the least accessible president so far and the media is dead quiet.
