Pfizer CEO Says People Who Spread Misinformation On Covid Vaccines Are Criminals

Published on

Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer, stated Tuesday on The Atlantic Council’s “Front Page” podcast that misinformation about Covid-19 vaccines was spread by “criminals” and has cost “millions” of lives.

Frederick Kempe, Atlantic Council CEO, stated that there was fake news about vaccines and other conspiracy theories during this time. How did that affect you? What do you think the main source of fake news? “How harmful was this for us?”

Bourla stated that it was quite damaging, as they were particularly targeted by dark organizations, of which you don’t know the owners, but you suspect that there are other countries. He said that they received a lot from the FBI and CIA about possible attacks, cyber attacks, and spreading misinformation.

Bourla explained that he understands people who are concerned about the vaccine and added that a small number of professionals circulate misinformation on purpose to mislead anyone that is. These people are criminals. They are not criminals. They are criminals because they have cost millions of lives.

Kempe stated that they should be treated as criminals, as well as anyone else who has done this.
