GOP Launches Voter Registration Initiative At Gas Stations Amid Surging Pain At The Pump

In response to record gas prices, the Republican National Committee has launched an initiative to register voters at gas stations.

“Don’t like #BidenGasHike!” Ronna McDaniel, Chair of the Republican National Committee, tweeted Saturday. “Vote! To register voters, Republicans are visiting gas stations across the country! #LeadRight.”

Fox News was informed by the Republican National Committee that their voter initiative started on Saturday. Staff and volunteers registered voters at gas stations in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. Gas prices have soared past $4.50 per gallon.

“Arizonans are frustrated by paying record-high gas prices recently, this issue affects almost all Arizonans,” Ben Petersen, the RNC’s Arizona Communications Director, said to Fox News. “There is no doubt that everyone feels the pain at the pumps. A gas station may be the best place for one our volunteers to have a chat with someone and get them registered to vote.

According to AAA data, the national average price for regular gasoline was $4.318 earlier this month. The price of regular gasoline surpassed $4 Sunday, which Republicans throughout the country claim is due to Biden’s policies.
