Peter Schweizer, a senior contributor to Breitbart News and president of the Government Accountability Institute, stated that an independent counsel would need to examine Hunter Biden’s financial transactions due to possible conflicts of interest for his father, President Joe Biden.

Schweizer stated, “This case is tailor-made for an independent counsel.” It’s an investigation that involves the family of President. The president appoints the attorney general. He’s also the one who will direct this U.S. Attorney that has this grand jury in Delaware. So you need an independent counsel.

He said, “There are lots of evidence… some of that money went to Joe Biden.” The money was fungible. It moved about. It was taken to James Biden and other people.”

FNC host Mark Levin was also informed by Schweizer that the Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R–KY) might object to the investigation due to McConnell’s business interests abroad. McConnell and Elaine Chao were former Transportation Secretary.
