Unknown bystanders accosted Jill Biden, first lady, as she entered a Connecticut ice-cream shop.
Biden was walking into the Arethusa Farms Ice Cream shop in New Haven when a man shouted at her, “Your husband is our worst President ever had, you are owing us gas money.”

“Thank you! “Thank you so much for your support. Biden replied with a smile, and wave.

Biden was then heckled by another person, who shouted “You suck!”

Biden visited Connecticut along with Miguel Cardona, Education Secretary, and the Connecticut Governor. Ned Lamont was part of a national summer tour that highlighted learning loss in children due to coronavirus lockdowns.

Arethusa Farms shared on Instagram that Biden’s visit was an “extremely honorable and humbled” experience for the farm.
