Majority of Americans Think Joe Biden Should Be Sent Home to Delaware

Published on

It is not enough that President Joe Biden has a low approval rating. The bottom line is that most Americans believe it’s time to give him a hand and send him home.

HotAir colleague Ed Morrissey pointed out that 60% of Americans believe Joe Biden to be “mentally incompetent”, according to a Harvard Harris poll.

Those numbers looked bad in May, and they’re only getting worse. The demos on these questions are equally disastrous as the topline numbers, too. Even among Democrats, 27% doubt Biden’s mental fitness and 34% think he’s too old for the job regardless.

Morrissey claims there is worse news for Biden.

A later question shows 71% oppose a second Biden run for the presidency; they don’t include demos on that question, but clearly, it has to include a substantial number of Democrats. Forty-five percent of that group say he shouldn’t run again because he’s a “bad president,” with another 30% saying he’s too old for the job.

And the bad news keeps on coming. The Harvard Harris poll reports that overall 64 percent of Americans think Joe Biden is “too old” to be president. Here are the key questions asked of the 1,308 online poll participants on June 28 and 29.

This is an astonishing breakdown. 73% of Independent voters believe Biden should be fired, while 36% of Democrats and 87% of Republicans think so.

This poll is troubling news for Democrats and their 2024 standard-bearer. 56% of Republicans said Donald Trump was the top choice. Only 30% of Democrats said Joe Biden was the top choice.

While it’s not all sunshine and roses, it’s nothing compared to Joe Biden’s dumpster fire.

This poll seems like it highlights the journalistic panic stories in legacy media. CNN asked Biden: “After stringing Supreme Court setbacks,” Democrats wondered if their White House could meet urgent moment demands …”. The Guardian headlined that the AOC “refused to endorse Biden for 2024″ as well as that Democrats were skeptical about his ability to win …”. The Guardian reported that Rich Lowry’s opinion article, “Let Biden be Biden”, was published by NBC News.

What are voters interested in? Ukraine? No. Seven other issues, including inflation and energy prices, rank higher than Joe Biden’s attempt to use the Russian attack on Ukraine to change the world order away from energy that comes from the earth’s natural resources, such as oil, water, and natural gas.

Joe Biden was their money for the first 18 months. According to the current poll, Democrats want him back in the basement.
