Prices Soar For Turkeys, Potatoes, Biscuits, Butter & Gravy

It will cost you a lot more to put the big turkey on Thanksgiving this year.
The price index which tracks Turkey and nonchicken poultry has risen 16.9%

Other Thanksgiving staples have also seen an increase in prices.

The index which includes pies has increased 18.6%.
Ice cream sales are up 13.3 percent
Canned fruits including cranberry sauces are up 18.7%
Fresh potatoes are up 15.6 per cent
The index for muffins, rolls, and biscuits has increased 13.6 percent.
Butter prices have risen 26.7 percent
Salad dressings are up 19.7 percent
Prices for gravy and sauce are up by 14.6 percent
Prices for food at home are up 12.4 per cent
You’ll feel a little better when you wash it all down. Wine prices are up by 3.2 percent.
