Trump Snubs Pride Month, White House Confirms

The Left wants you to believe that Trump is heartless because he isn’t recognizing June as Pride Month or dedicating it to any other group. According to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, there are “no plans” for such a proclamation. But here’s what the drive-by media won’t tell you: Trump is proud to be a president for ALL Americans, regardless of race, religion, or creed.

Trump didn’t issue proclamations for Pride Month during his first term, but he did acknowledge the LGBT community in a social media post in 2019. That’s when he was trying to decriminalize homosexuality globally. Sounds like a pretty inclusive move to me.

The first presidential proclamation declaring June “Gay and Lesbian Pride Month” came from Bill Clinton, a Democrat, with Obama adding bisexual and transgender people to the mix in 2011. And what did we get? A month-long virtue signalling extravaganza.

The Left criticizes those who refuse to jump on their rainbow bandwagon. Corporations were blasted for temporarily applying rainbow filters to their logos or posting about Pride on social media. Even “Sesame Street” got a roasting from congressional Republicans for celebrating Pride. Yes, “Sesame Street”! What’s next? The Cookie Monster comes out as a vegan?

Rep. Mary Miller, R-Ill., one of the GOP members criticizing PBS over “Sesame Street”, introduced a resolution that seeks to declare June “Family Month.” She wants to honor God’s timeless and perfect design. Now that’s a proclamation I can get behind!

“The American family is under attack from a radical leftist agenda that seeks to erase truth, redefine marriage, and confuse our children,” Miller told The Daily Wire.

The Education Department has another label up its sleeve. They want to declare June “Title IX Month,” in honor of the landmark 1972 sex discrimination statute. A statute that Trump’s administration has said bars transgender women and girls from competing against biological female athletes.

“And that, my friends, is exactly what we’ve been saying all along. The Left is pushing this agenda, but Trump, and conservatives like him, are standing up for all Americans. Remember, you heard it here first.”
