Biden’s Treasury Secretary Says Inflation Is Your Fault

Janet Yellen, Treasury Secretary, appeared on Stephen Colbert’s left-wing comedy program Wednesday night to talk about her important work in improving penmanship and let it be known that inflation was caused when Americans “splurged” on technology and goods during the pandemic.

Inflation is your fault.

She did not mention the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan or the budget-busting Inflation Reduction Act. All because Walmart customers wanted to buy a new grill.

It turned out that the pandemic had special effects on the economy. Keep in mind that everyone stopped spending on services.

They had been living in their home for at least a year. They wanted to purchase office furniture and grills. They were at home. They began to spend more on technology and goods.

It was like we were suddenly using technology. The result was that bottlenecks developed in areas where the supply of certain important sectors of society couldn’t keep pace with demand.

Then, she continued to repeat the words of President Biden by claiming that it was Russia who started the war in Ukraine, sending gas prices skyrocketing and that inflation was also Russia’s fault. Yellen, Biden, and others have blamed everyone but themselves for the inflation rate which reached a record 40-year high in October. This Colbert appearance by Yellen and Biden is a low point. It marks the first time that they have pinned the blame on locked-up Americans who want new grills. Remember that the only way to connect with family and friends is outside. Thus, it makes sense for us to want a grill.

The same woman also assured us that inflation is “transitory” so it didn’t pose any big risk.

Yellen and Colbert discussed her signature which will appear on currency and how she had been working hard to improve it.

Funny haha! So precious. Last night I was at the grocery store and I didn’t laugh when I saw how much chicken cost. I believe politicians are less effective when they appear on late-night “comedy” shows. This is especially true these days when many of them have become propaganda arms for the DNC. The Washington Times reports:

Alex Christy, a broadcast analyst, wrote that “the late-night comedy scene had been consistently liberal for a while but the midterm election in 2022 was a regular message machine for the Democrats.”

A study found that liberal guests were 47 to 0 in favor of conservative guests during the fall political campaign, which spanned from Labor Day through Monday night before Election Day.

It is possible that the study didn’t include Fox host Greg Gutfeld. Gutfeld! The show is thriving in ratings or Tucker Carlson, whose nightly monologues have more laugh lines than any network comedian!

Biden and Yellen are masters at blaming others. I would like to get them mirrors for Christmas.
