Joe Biden was defeated again by his illegal plan “forgive” student loan debts. Six GOP-led States have challenged the president since Biden signed the order.
In October, the 8th Circuit put an administrative stop on the Biden administration. This made it unable to accept any debt forgiveness applications. The 5th Circuit has refused to lift the stay.
Biden now has two defeats in the appeals court system. Biden can’t help but throw a ducky pass toward the 50-yard line in hopes that someone will take it down.
The Department of Justice of Biden stated that it would request intervention from the U.S. Supreme Court if the 5th Circuit refused to hear the appeal.
Alexander Taylor and Myra Brown filed the 5th Circuit court case against the U.S. Department of Education. It was one of two rulings that stopped the U.S. Department of Education from delaying the student loan program. The estimated value of the program is over $400 billion.
Can you bet the Supreme Court will side with Biden in this matter? The fact that decision-making is done now by the conservative bloc makes it unlikely.
It shouldn’t happen. The President is not authorized to declare an immediate emergency or cancel student loans for taxpayers. The Supreme Court must stop allowing government officials such powers. Biden declared the pandemic over.
The White House doesn’t have any other options. They lost in lower courts and the Supreme Court will not be supporting them.
