While on vacation in the Virgin Islands, President Joe Biden signed Thursday’s $1.7 trillion Omnibus Bill of 4,000 Pages.
The White House staff had the task of flying the bill to St. Croix to get it signed by the president before the deadline of December 30th.
On Tuesday evening, the president left Washington, DC for vacation. The bill was almost ready to be signed. However, the White House announced Thursday night that the president had signed it.
Biden posted on his social media page, “Looking forward for more in 2023”, promoting his year as President.
Reporters who were traveling with the president were barred from the signing ceremony. The White House released only a photograph of the president wearing a suit signing the bill at an undescript table.
According to the New York Post, the president and his family will be staying free at the home of Bill and Connie Neville.
They were recently invited to Biden’s first White House state dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron.
