MTG Has Tulsi Gabbard in Her Sights After Gabbard Takes Santos Out for a Ride

Tulsi Gabbard interviewed George Santos, Congressman-elect, Tuesday night. Santos is the subject of unwanted and unwelcome attention. Gabbard, of course, is a former Democrat congresswoman-turned-independent who is taking the time to explore the conservative side of things. Although it might be tempting to point fingers at Gabbard’s progressive past, I believe Gabbard is still going through a process. God knows that I didn’t become a conservative overnight. I was as Left-leaning as you can get for years. Gabbard did a great job, even though I have had to do a lot of uncomfortable interviews. The segment can be viewed below.

It seems that Georgia’s Marjorie Taylor Greene doesn’t agree with my assessment. She took to Twitter to voice her dissatisfaction with Gabbard’s segment in this thread.

It can be good to wear the team jersey. There’s a place and time for this. Let’s not forget that Santos may claim to be in the country’s best interest, which he may. Gabbard called Santos on the matter and held him responsible. It is easy to keep conservatives and independents accountable when they focus on Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, and the Biden families or (fill out your favorite crooked donkey). It’s not easy when we have to police ourselves.

Leftist politicians have the mainstream media and academia to cover them. They also have a horde of internet goblins and orcs to grant them indulgences. Conservatives do not. It is unfair. It is not easy to be a good person. Because they are so set low, Leftists don’t fail in the Ethics Department. The Left could accept a college student with a stomach full of Everclear and a joint in his mouth. Are conservatives really looking for that? Are we willing to follow the Democrats’ lead and try to keep power in check? I don’t believe so. Integrity isn’t necessary, but it does matter.
