Kim Jong-Un Demands Exponential Increase Of The Country’s Nuclear Arsenal

Kim Jong-un is North Korea’s communist dictator. He used the end-of-year party meeting to demand an “exponential rise” in the country’s arsenal via the “mass-producing, tactical nuclear weapons,” state media reported.

Korean Central News Agency, a regime news agency published a summary of the Workers’ Party Korean’s (WPK) year-end plenary meeting. It described what it called a report Kim had given to Party elders.

According to reports, Kim Jong-un made a firm commitment to denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula in his meeting in 2018 with Donald Trump. The document in which he stated that did not define the term. The North Korean regime uses this term to refer the South Korean removal of American nukes.

Kim Jong Un officially banned all discussions about denuclearization within his country in September.

Trump met with Kim only twice during his presidency, but these meetings did not produce any major policy changes. Pyongyang has mostly ignored him with the exception of occasional threats by Kim Yo-jong, a WPK top official.

Kim Jong Un used this meeting in order to introduce his country to 2023. He stated that he had directed development of an intercontinental missile (ICBM) in order to create a quick counterstrike.

“Now that the puppet South [sic] Korean forces has designated the DPRK(North Korea) their principal army’ and openly trumpet about war preparations’, they have assumed the role of our undoubted enemy,” KCNA paraphrased Kim’s statement at the meeting. It highlights the importance and necessity of tactical nuclear weapons that can be mass produced and calls for an exponential rise in the country’s arsenal. ”

“The report highlighted the importance of strengthening nuclear force. It stated that nuclear forces view it as the first mission to stop war and maintain peace and stability. KCNA stated, “But, if they fail to deter, they’ll perform the second mission, which will not be for defense.” ”

Kim was also present at the ceremony to honor the incorporation a new “super-large multiple launch rocket system” into North Korean military force. The ceremony highlighted its nuclear capabilities.

Kim stated that military hardware, in a speech at the ceremony, had “the ability to overcome difficult terrain conditions and great maneuverability and an ability to conduct a surprise and exact launch of multiple rockets in terms of military technology.” ”

“And because it contains South [sic] Korea’s entire territory within the attack range and is capable of carrying tactical nuclear warhead,” he concluded, “it will discharge” his combat mission to “overpower the enemy as an offensive core weapons of our Armed Forces. ”

The propaganda arms of North Korea have adopted a new moniker for Kim Jong Un, “Respected fatherly Marshall Kim Jong Un” besides the aggressive talk about North Korea’s nuclear progress. This title highlights his status as father. Articles note that he began the year by meeting members of “Korean Children’s Union,” children that the regime uses to achieve its political goals.

Kim made another November appearance along with his daughter, and said that North Korea would be “the strongest nuclear power in the world.” South Korean observers saw this as a signal that North Korea would continue to be in the capable hands and care of the Kim family even after Kim Jong Un’s passing. His daughter was being trained for the management of a major nuclear power weapon.

“By displaying his daughter beside the ICBM Kim, he is announcing that the DPRK’s nuke program will not cease and will continue throughout the rest of his lineage,” Tae Yongho, a South Korean lawmaker, told the Washington Post.
