Democrats Admit They’ve Lost Hope In Kamala Harris

Some Democrats are openly expressing their disgust for Vice President Kamala Harris in the media, while a few political heavyweights argue that Harris is a significant liability for 2024.

Harris is trying to “define” her vice presidency. Even her allies are tired waiting,” The New York Times reported Monday.

This is because some Democrats agree that the vice president is a disappointment.

“But Ms. Harris has to face the hard truth that she has not been able to rise up to the challenge of being a future leader of the party or the country, in private conversations over the past few months with dozens of Democrats on Capitol Hill, in the White House and across the country — including those who helped her get on the 2020 ticket.”

According to The Times, even some Democrats believed to have been supporters of Harris “concluded privately that she had lost their hope in them,”

John Morgan, a Democratic fundraiser, was one of few to speak out against Harris. He argued that Harris’ weakness as vice president would be “one the most difficult-hitting arguments against Biden.”

Morgan stated that the president’s old age makes the argument stronger.

He said, “It doesn’t take a genius for us to say, ‘Look, with his years, we must really think about it.'”
Joe Biden, at 80 years of age, is the oldest president to ever hold office.

Morgan also attacked Harris’ record as vice president.

Multiple polls show Harris’ unpopularity among voters. According to FiveThirtyEight, 39% of Americans say they approve of Harris’ job performance.

Harris is known for speaking vaguely and flubbing speeches. Harris’ speech in honor of two NASA astronauts was recently criticized on social media because it sounded “like a 5-year-old” and was not well-received.

“And then they launched. She laughed and said, “Yes, they did.”

Harris was also criticized for her video last year in which she spoke to children about space.
