GOP Must Be The Party That Protects Children, Rep Greene Says

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) stated that the Republican Party must defend children against anyone who supports the idea of young children being allowed to remove body parts and use dangerous chemicals to try to change their genders.

Greene stated that the Republican Party has a responsibility. “We have a responsibility to protect children.”

Greene stated that children are being attacked by a “disturbing ideology” that “tells an incredible lie: that children can change their gender before even growing up.”

She stated that children are being forced to make gender-transformation decisions in a hurry before they can get tattoos, vote, or reach puberty.

Greene stated that the Democrats have supported the transgender movement for many years. In her first term as Congresswoman, Democrats controlled the House. She stated that Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), former House Speaker, had passed a rule that said lawmakers wouldn’t refer to gender while they were drafting legislation.

“To my shock, we had a new rule in the rules package… and that was, there was no more gender. You couldn’t say family names: mother, father, sister, brother,” Greene said.

She stated that support for transgender ideologies is not only harmful to children but is also damaging to the most vulnerable.

She said that children are the victims of this industry and are confused about their identity. “They’re confused about who they are due to what they see on the internet and social media. Many of these victims of the billion-dollar industry that mutilates children’s genitals – many of these kids have a mental illness, autism, depression, anxiety, or psychosis.

She said that there are many teenage girls who have their breasts removed. Their bodies will suffer permanent, permanent injuries. They won’t be able to breastfeed their baby. There are also boys who have their penises turned inside-out.

Greene stated that Republicans under the House GOP leadership will be able to pass her legislation aimed at protecting children against these dangers.

She said, “I’m going be introducing my bill the Protect Children’s Innocence Act that will make it illegal to perform any gender-affirming care for children.”

Greene stated, “Our god is our god. He created man and woman in his image.” “And our god was the god who created our children.” “We will pass this bill because of him.” “The Republican Party will be the party protecting children from evils that I can’t even believe exist.”
