Missing Georgia Exec Found Dead, Rolled In Carpet In Baton Rouge

According to the coroner, a Georgia father of five children and director of a construction company went missing on a business trip. He was in Baton Rouge, Louisiana when he disappeared.

Authorities found Nathan Millard, 42, dead in a vacant lot close to a Baton Rouge funeral home. He was about seven minutes away from Happy’s Irish Pub downtown, where he last saw him on February 23rd with a client.

According to Dr. William “Beau” Clark, East Baton Rouge Parish coroner, Millard had alcohol, cocaine, and fentanyl in his system at the time of his death.

Clark identified Millard’s cause and manner of death to be fentanyl mixed with cocaine and alcohol.

Baton Rouge authorities arrested Derrick Perkins (45), “for his involvement with the improper disposing Nathan Millard’s corpse,” obstruction of justice and failure to seek help.

Tiffany Ann Guidry was also detained by police for illegal disposal of human remains, prostitution, and failing to seek help.

Tabbetha Barrney is wanted on charges of illegal disposal, prostitution, and failure to seek help.

Millard was in Baton Rouge to meet with a client at a LSU game on February 23rd. He then went to Happy’s for dinner. Millard left Happy’s around 11:30 p.m. to go back to his hotel room, but never returned.

Two weeks later, he was found dead. Clark stated that Millard was “[n]othing to indicate internal or external trauma” following his death.

The Baton Rouge Police Department did not release any additional information about Millard’s disappearance or death.
