Nancy Pelosi Struggles To Recover After Accidentally Referring To Hillary Clinton As President

Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) praised Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State, for her leadership on democracy, “when president”, before wildly catching her mistake Monday.

The former Speaker of the House and Clinton discussed the state of democracy around the globe and in America during a conversation hosted at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.

Clinton stated to Pelosi, “Let’s begin with this little matter about democracy. Because I think you and me believe that it is not just in our nation, but that that’s where it’s most clearly seen, there has been a concerted effort against some of the very foundations for democratic governance, of an democratic society.”

“There is research that shows half of the world’s democracies, including the United States, are in decline, according to some SIPA researchers. Nancy, what do YOU see as the greatest threats to democracy? What are the best ways to reverse this trend and make it better? She asked.

“Well, that’s a good question. But I also appreciate your leadership when it comes to this matter as president.” Pelosi responded, before she jumped up and threw her hands in the air. She then shifted in her chair and touched her chest with her hand. Pelosi tried to get back on her feet by declaring Clinton was “my hope”

Pelosi added, “But Secretary Clinton was in Senate as first lady and secretary of state in more recent times – she was and at that point implemented many things that showed America’s support for democracy.”

She then made a scapegoat of Vladimir Putin, the Russian leader who stole the 2016 election from Clinton. He claimed it was because he hated her the most.

“It was her clarity, position to the present – Putin – the current occupant leader in Russia that caused him to turn around and illegally interfere in our democracy by Vladimir Putin. Hillary Clinton was the person he most feared for his lack of democracy and Russia. This is, I believe, obvious, so thank you very much for your efforts,” Pelosi stated.

Clinton released a promo video in March about the course she’ll be teaching at Columbia’s SIPA this autumn about foreign policy. It was based on her personal political experience.

According to a press release, Clinton and Dean Keren Yarhi – Milo will co-teach the course, titled “Inside The Situation Room.” The course will examine “a range of cases and examine decision-making within a variety historical and contemporary contexts, including the search for Osama Bin Laden and the’redline’ in Syria to negotiating with Iran.”

Glenn Greenwald, an independent journalist, mocked the video and criticised Clinton’s influence on American foreign policy.

He wrote that the US official who has encouraged more wars than anyone in the past three decades, possibly except John Bolton, is now teaching Columbia students a class called “Foreign Policy Decision-Making.” They’re thrilled!
