NASCAR’s Blaine Perkins Hospitalized After Car Rolled Six Times in Terrifying Talladega Crash

Published on

The car of Blaine Perkins rolled onto the track at Talladega on Saturday.

Perkins’ car was flipped six times in an accident, yet he miraculously walked away.

Perkins’ No. Jade Bufords car was hit by Dexter Stacey and became airborne after contact. The car began to roll when it returned to the track.

After the crash, the red flag was raised to temporarily stop the race.

According to NASCAR Perkins was taken to a hospital. However, Perkins’ ability to walk away from the accident is a positive sign.

That was the first of two red flags during the race. Daniel Hemric’s car ended up on its roof in one wreck.

Hemric was released after being treated by the crew on the field.

The wrecks occurred the day before the GEICO 500 race at the Alabama track.
