China Threatens Taiwan, the U.S. Within Striking Distance of Military Force

The Chinese Communist Party, which is a genocidal group, has warned the U.S. not to provide aid to Taiwan. They have threatened that “the entire island and surrounding waters of Taiwan are within range of [the Chinese army’s] firing power.”

Is CCP just being bombastic as they have been before? Is this the tipping point for China? The CCP has already killed at least 500 million of its own citizens. Experts have warned that hundreds of Chinese men of military age are pouring across the southern border into the U.S., which could indicate a military invasion. CCP has a clear intention to seize Taiwan, but the question is whether or not this latest threat signals a CCP invasion of Taiwan.

Global Times, a CCP propaganda outlet that has issued violent threats against the U.S. in the past, warned, in an article published on May 26, that “The Taiwan Straits and the entire island and surrounding waters of Taiwan are within range of PLA’s (People’s Liberation Army) firepower. The PLA’s operational capability is aimed at not only Taiwan secessionists but also external military forces who attempt to cause trouble in the area.” It was quoting Chinese expert Song Zhongping. Global Times posted the threat on Twitter in order to highlight the CCP’s claim that Taiwan is an independent democracy and belongs to them.

CCP Foreign Ministry, Global Times, and the CCP Foreign Ministry reacted to news that “the first shipment of US FIM-92 Stinger weapons had arrived” in Taiwan. Washington is also said to be helping the island gain access to NATO’s Link-22 Secure Data Link System.

Song stated that, in light of the fact that the military authorities of Taiwan have introduced new weapons and equipment and that their relationship with the US has become closer, the PLA would continue to improve its military plan so that regular military exercises can better align with current and future situations.

Song said that if outside forces were to help Taiwan secessionists to split China’s territory, the PLA would use its own method to resolve the Taiwan issue. They will be told through their actions that the “Taiwan Independence” was a dead-end.

CCP mocks “Taiwan Independence” and pretends that the nation is under CCP control. This is a false, but not surprising claim from a government that came to power by mass murdering and oppressing its people. The CCP also wants to dominate as much of the globe as possible.

We can only hope that this latest CCP threat and the previous one to “wipe out” U.S. soldiers who defend Taiwan are just boasts, rather than warnings, from America’s biggest enemy.
