Former WWE Wrestler Sara Lee’s Death Ruled as Suicide

On Friday, the details surrounding Sara Lee’s death were revealed.

According to reports citing the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, the “Tough Enough” winner, who had performed in NXT for nearly a full year, committed suicide after consuming a deadly cocktail of pills and alcohol, multiple reports said. At the time of death, alcohol, doxylamine, and amphetamines were found in her body.

Lee was 30 years old.

“Sara lived 30 years.” Courtney White told NBC News that “She had many beautiful moments during those 30 years”.

“Her death was a very short chapter in a very beautiful life. A chapter that needs no explanation or comments. Seven months ago today she left us and the details matter no more then than they do now.”

We requested a comment from the Bexar County Medical Examiner Officer that was not immediately responded to.

Terri Lee, Lee’s mother announced her daughter’s passing in October.

Terri wrote: “It was with a heavy heart that we shared the news of Sara Weston’s death and her journey to Jesus.” “We’re all shocked and the arrangements aren’t complete. Please respect our family’s grief. “We all need prayer, but especially Cory and her kids.”

WWE released a statement about her death.

“WWE was saddened by the news of Sara Lee’s death. Lee was an inspiration for many people in the sports and entertainment world. WWE extends its deepest condolences, at that time, to her friends, family, and fans.
