Elon Musk Agrees To Train With UFC Legend Georges St-Pierre Before Potential Cage Match With Mark Zuckerberg

Elon Musk, the Twitter CEO and co-founder of Twitter, has found a new partner to train with ahead of his possible cage match against Mark Zuckerberg. Musk announced on Twitter that he would be training with UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre.

Musk replied, “Ok, lets do it,” to the retired UFC star, who had initially said he was “a huge fan” of Musk and that it would be “absolutely an honor” to train Musk.

GSP, widely considered one of best UFC fighters ever and the greatest mixed martial artist in history, tweeted: “I am a huge fan and it would an absolute honor to be your training partner and help you for the challenge against Zuckerberg.”

St-Pierre, a French-Canadian who had held titles in two UFC weight classes and was a champion in both, competed last in the Octagon in 2017 when he defeated former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping. St-Pierre (26-2-0), a French-Canadian fighter who held championships in two different UFC weight classes, last competed in the Octagon when he resoundingly defeated then -UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping in 2017.

The UFC veteran, now retired, regularly posts videos of his workouts and training.

Musk, who also owns SpaceX, admitted previously that he did not regularly work out. However, he tweeted on Friday that he had previously trained in “judo (full-contact), Kyokushin streetfighting & no rules.”

Musk’s banter with several Twitter users, including those who run and own Twitter, quickly evolved into a challenge for him to fight in a cage-match against Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta who owns Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

Dana White, UFC president, confirmed that the Zuck accepted the challenge. The two billionaires had been “absolutely serious” about the potential fight.

They both said “Yeah we will do it.” White told TMZ Sports that both White and White want to do the thing.

White speculated that the celebrity fight could be “the biggest fight in the history” of the world.

The UFC president stated that “this would be the largest fight in history.” It’s bigger than anything ever done. This would smash all pay-per view records. They would raise hundreds and millions of dollars to donate to charity. This fight is not only for fighting fans. Everyone would want to watch it.

He said: “I think the biggest fight ever was Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor, I triple that.” I think that it will triple what this did. This thing is limitless. Everyone would watch it and everyone would want to see.”

The idea of a cage-match came from a report that Meta had been working on an application similar to Twitter that would be a direct rival to the platform.

Musk responded to the report by tweeting: “I’m certain Earth can’t be waiting to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb, with no other choices.”

He said that he would “be up for a cage-match if [Zuckerberg] was.”

On the next day, Zuckerberg accepted the challenge by saying “Send me location” on Instagram.

Musk replied, “If it’s for real, then I will do this,” suggesting that the fight should be held in Las Vegas inside a UFC Octagon.

He dominated the UFC’s welterweight division during his reign as a former two-division champ, with TKO and submission victories against some of the top fighters in the sport.

He was inducted to the UFC Hall of Fame class of 2020.
