The worse things get, the more we discover about the DOJ’s handling of the Hunter Biden case.

IRS whistleblowers told Congress on Thursday that US Attorney David Weiss tried twice to file federal charges against the son of the president in California and Washington, DC, but senior DOJ officials prevented him. Hunter Biden’s lawyers also received information about multiple property searches which could have yielded further evidence. Leah Wolfe, assistant US attorney at the time, prohibited investigators from following any leads that might lead to Joe Biden.

More details are now coming out about what the DOJ allowed to slide, and they’re shocking. According to the testimony of one whistleblower, he and his team discovered that Hunter Biden claimed prostitute costs on his tax returns.

IRS whistleblowers revealed to Congress that Hunter Biden had deducted from his tax returns tens and thousands of dollars he paid to a prostitute or sex club.

In a 1 June interview, a whistleblower IRS criminal investigator, whose identity is unknown but who worked on Biden’s tax investigation, informed members of the House Ways and Means Committee that Biden had improperly deducted these expenses from his 2018 tax returns.

Biden’s plea agreement with federal prosecutors covers this year, and critics call it a sweetheart bargain. Gary Shapley is another IRS whistleblower who told lawmakers the Justice Department tax division and the prosecutors in the Biden investigation viewed these deductions as a “slam-dunk case” for tax fraud. The testimony of whistleblowers fills many gaps about how Biden avoided paying hundreds of thousand dollars in taxes.

This was not the case for someone who forgot to submit his taxes or simply did not file them. According to the whistleblower, Hunter Biden had been defrauding his taxes by deducting prostitutes, and trips to sex clubs. The last time I checked, there was no line item on federal tax forms for prostitution. IRS agents literally ran around trying to verify whether prostitutes had been paid or if the deductions were made for something more sinister.

There’s more, though. Hunter Biden’s deductions were not only fraudulent and criminal, but they also violated federal sex trafficking laws, because, in at least one instance, the prostitutes had crossed state borders.

Did Hunter Biden actually write “prostitution” when he was making his deductions? No, that’s not true. He claimed that prostitutes worked for his company and described them as “golf club members”. Tax fraud is tax fraud.

Hunter Biden was never charged with the most serious crimes, which would have led to him spending time in jail. Why? The leadership of the DOJ appears to have intervened and stopped them multiple times. The fix was in. And the more it comes out, the worse the situation becomes.
