S.E. Cupp Expresses Strong Reaction to Censure of Adam Schiff

Adam Schiff, a Democrat from California, was censured by a vote on party lines in the House of Representatives this week for lying about Trump-Russian collusion. S.E. Cupp was angered when the Republicans launched their campaign, calling it a waste of tax dollars.

“Did you wake up this morning with added spring in your step? Did the sun shine a little brighter?” she asked Thursday, rhetorically. “Did you breathe a sigh of relief that some of your problems had finally been solved? No? Weird. Because last night, the House of Representatives — the people you elect to govern, write laws, pass budgets, and solve problems — did none of those things. Republican lawmakers did however stage a very theatrical grievance politics performance, meant to satisfy a bloodthirsty base that’s seemingly far more interested in revenge than problem-solving or legislating. Republicans, along party lines, voted to censure former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, a Democrat from California for, quote, misleading the American public.”

Cupp then went on to minimize the importance of the act, insisting that they only did it because “they could.” Cupp went on to say that the GOP was “driven almost exclusively by the desire to punish their opponents, even years ago, even if it is only symbolic.”

It is difficult to believe that Schiff can continue to deny that Trump colluded in any way with Russia. Despite the Mueller report and other reports stating that Trump did not collude with Russia and that no evidence exists, Schiff continues insisting that it happened.

Cupp then had the nerve to complain about a vote of censure being a waste of taxpayer money. According to the Department of Justice, the Mueller investigation cost $32 million. However, Cupp did not bemoan this waste of taxpayers’ dollars or Schiff’s lying. Instead, she concluded that Trump was “unfit to run.”

S.E. Cupp, a self-described conservative, attacks Republicans and defends Democrats. She uses her platform to empower the leftists while making excuses for Democrats. Cupp even supported the censure against Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona for tweeting a violent video.

Cupp is no longer the conservative that she claimed to be. She’s now a shill of the Democrats who never misses an opportunity to criticize Republicans. Cupp has even criticized Republican attacks against Joe Biden for allowing a Chinese spy to fly over military installations in the United States.

She received a voter registration card so that she could change her party affiliation from “Republican” to “Democrat”.
