Seattle officials have sent police and public works to the intersection of 3rd Street and Holgate Street, in Seattle’s SODO district this week to clear homeless encampments. This is ahead of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game next week. Now activists are threatening the game because of the sweep.

Seattle will host the All-Star Game for the third time in 22 years. The game was held in the city in 1979 and 2001.

Neal, a resident of an RV in the vicinity of T-Mobile Park told KOMO that “they’re telling us to be out by Wednesday morning.” “I don’t know where I will go as far as the gas tank can take me.”

Neal showed the media an advertisement urging the homeless not to give up.

The flyer says, “Fuck Baseball. Fuck This Mayor. Fuck This City.” It also adds “Let’s mess up their day.”

The flyer says: “They have been pushing us for months, hoping to clear our sight for the MLB All-Star Game on July 11, – Let’s ensure their work was not for nothing!”

The flyer declares: “When tailgaters, rich (expletive), and other people show up to the big game they will find us! This is what the city has worked so hard to avoid!”
