Second Hunter Biden Lawyer Doesn’t Deny WhatsApp Texts Are His

Published on

Hunter Biden lawyer Abbe Lowell, who represents high-profile individuals engulfed in political scandals, issued a letter Friday on behalf of the president’s son that did not deny the contents of the WhatsApp IRS whistleblower-revealed texts to be his client’s.

Two different attorneys have both brought up the same case, namely that Hunter Biden’s text messages were not refuted.

A WhatsApp message surfaced last week showing Hunter Biden demanding payment from a CCP businessman in 2017. The text showed Hunter “sitting next to” his father.

In a second text, Hunter Biden asked Gongwen Kevin Dong for $10 million. He noted that the Bidens are the best at doing “exactly what the chairman wants.”

Lowell did not deny that the words were Hunter Biden’s in his letter to the members of the House Committee, but he claimed the graphics were fakes.

Lowell wrote: “In summary, the images that you circulated on the internet are fakes,” but did not deny the content of the messages sent to individuals with ties to the CCP.

Jason Smith, Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, also made the IRS whistleblowers’ transcripts public. This “fed[ed] the misinformation to harm our client… as a way to attack his dad.”

He said: “Your attempt to shield the IRS agents from criticism was a transparent attempt to cover those who have a deep-seated bias and a axe to grind that is so sharp and deep, it has allowed them to avoid having to answer for their conduct under oath.”

Lowell also claimed that the whistleblowers had disclosed information to Congress in an effort to “escape their own misconduct”, alleging Smith broke federal laws by disclosing IRS agents’ statements.

Hunter Biden’s criminal defense attorney Chris Clark admitted that the first WhatsApp message he sent in 2017 demanding money from an unnamed businessman who was “sitting next to” his father, was Hunter’s message.

He wrote: “The DOJ’s investigation covered a time when my client was in turmoil and addicted.” “Any verifiable actions or words of my client during a terrible addiction are his alone and have no relation to anyone in his immediate family.”

Clark’s statement was made on the same day Breitbart News reported that the Biden business received $5.1m within 10 days of Hunter Biden sending his first message to an official with the CCP who worked for the Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC Energy. This is according to a 2020 Senate report about the Bidens.
