Musk’s SpaceX in DOJ’s Crosshairs, Some See Political Motivation

We are so concerned about the weaponization by Joe Biden of government against Americans and political opponents that we have created a House Select Subcommittee. The lawfare against former president Donald Trump, or targeting other Americans like parents who raise questions at school board meetings that some on the left don’t like is all part of this.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX is being targeted by the Department of Justice. The DOJ has filed a lawsuit against SpaceX for alleged discriminatory practices in hiring.

The Justice Department issued a statement stating: “The lawsuit alleges that, between September 2018 and May 2022 SpaceX discouraged refugees and asylum seekers from applying and refused to hire them or even consider considering them due to their citizenship, thereby violating Immigration and National Law. ”

According to the Justice Department, SpaceX has claimed, in its job postings, that it can only hire US citizens and lawful permanent residents, also known as “green card holders”.

In other words, they allegedly didn’t hire “asylees and refugees.”

This action is a result of a complaint by one individual. While the DOJ wants SpaceX’s employees to be refugees and asylum seekers they also want anyone with “any” information to contact them.

Translation of the phrase: We wish to file additional lawsuits against this company.

The Justice Department is seeking “fair consideration” for asylees and refugees who were denied employment at SpaceX or discouraged from applying because of the alleged racism. “The Justice Department also seeks civil penalties that may be determined by the court and policy changes to ensure SpaceX adheres in the future to the Immigration and Nationality Act’s antidiscrimination provisions.

This is crazy after all the achievements of SpaceX.

Many expressed their dismay over this action.

Joe Lonsdale, the CEO of Palantir, said it was him and his company that were affected.

Others have pointed out the strictness of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.

This is the reason why SpaceX only hires Americans. The ITAR law is a US law that prohibits SpaceX from sharing its technology with non-US citizens.

According to the “Code of Federal Regulations,” Title 22 – Foreign Relations, Chapter 1 – Department of State, Subchapter M – International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Part 121 – United States Munitions List, Category IV [1] – all launch vehicle and rockets such as SpaceX’s Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, Starship, etc. are considered as weapon technology.

Greg Price of State Freedom Caucus Network, who is the director of communications for State Freedom Caucus Network, pointed out that NASA only employs U.S. Citizens.

The price is:

The official NASA website states “Except for very rare exceptions, you must be an American to work at NASA.”

Biden’s DOJ wants to punish SpaceX for not hiring non-citizens. It has nothing to do with @elonmusk retaliating against the Twitter documents.

Conclusion: This is a bad decision that reinforces the notion that Biden’s team will do whatever it takes to eliminate political opponents.
