YouTube Mommy Blogger Arrested for Suspected Child Abuse

Published on

According to Utah officials, both a YouTube mom and her business partner who are parenting and lifestyle influencers have been charged with two counts each of child abuse.

Ruby Franke and her business partner Jodi Ildebrandt, as well as their YouTube video about victimhood and responsibility that they had posted three days prior on their ConneXions Facebook page, were arrested Wednesday. Santa Clara Police had received a request for assistance at 10:50 pm.

A press release from the police on Thursday reported that a malnourished juvenile had “open wounds and duct tape around his extremities”.

The police said that the condition was so serious that it needed to be transported to hospital.

Officers also searched the home of another child in a similar state. The authorities also transported the second child to the hospital. They found evidence that was “consistent with” the markings on the juvenile.

The investigators executed a search warrant and rescued a total of four children before arresting Franke and Hildebrandt.

Shari posted a photo of a police car parked on a suburban street, with the words “Finally” written on it. Shari shared a statement on a later Instagram story.

“Hello everyone. She wrote: “Today is an important day. “My family is thrilled to hear that justice was served. We’ve been telling the CPS and police about this for years. “We are happy that they finally took action. We hope the kids will be safe, but it’s a long road ahead. Please keep them in your prayers and respect their privacy. ”

Shari is a YouTuber aged 20 who has a lifestyle channel that features videos about school, dating, and travel.

Ruby Franke’s sisters posted a statement to Instagram on Thursday. They claimed to have “kept quiet” for “three years…for the sake of her children.”

They claimed that they had “done everything we could to ensure the safety of the children.” The arrests of Ruby Hildebrandt and Hildebrandt were “necessary” and “the kids are now safe.”

Ruby Franke and Hildebrandt’s YouTube page ConneXions, formerly known as Moms of Truth, aimed to “successfully navigate life” for 4,650 subscribers. Tuesday’s video was part of an ongoing series that aims to combat victimhood.

Franke says: “I’ve dropped my responsibility. “I am human and I have a duty. When I let go of my responsibility through my agency or my choices, I’m in the victim state. ”

Franke made similar complaints in older videos without Hildebrandt. She was angry that the schools of her children were using TikTok to teach dances and about sleepovers, bullying, etc. The “live couple workshop”, which focuses on finances, is also included.

Franke started ConneXions, a parenting company in 2010, and ran “8 Passengers”, a popular YouTube page where she posted video blogs about raising her kids with her husband.

The description read: “Things can get crazy with six active kids, but we’ll find joy if love and support each other.”
