Ackman Drops Bombshell: “Harvard, MIT, and U Penn Presidents Must Resign in Disgrace!”

The Ivy League was relegated to the Hall of Shame on Tuesday when three university presidents appeared before Congress but were unable to muster enough moral conviction to condemn the calls for the genocide of Jews.

The House Committee on Education and Workforce conducted a hearing on December 5 to discuss antisemitism on college campuses after the Israel-Hamas War. The hearing was attended by three college presidents: Claudine Gay from Harvard University, Liz Magill from Penn University, and Sally Kornbluth, the MIT president. Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-NY, asked the witnesses whether calling for the genocide against Jews was a violation of their university’s code or rules on bullying or harassment. One witness gave a shocking answer.

If nothing else, the above should forever lay to rest any fear among the non-college-attending populace that not going to college indicates a lack of intelligence. When the leaders of colleges insist that genocide calls must be put into “context” to be condemned, it is clear they are morally bankrupt.

Why is it that the highly educated seemingly have so much difficulty with very basic concepts/definitions? The Oppression Olympics are more important to the Too Clever by Half crowd than rationality and decency.

Bill Ackman is the founder and CEO at Pershing Square Capital. He has criticized the Harvard student groups and the university leadership for their reaction to the Hamas attack on Israel that occurred on October 7. Bill Ackman, founder and CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management, has been vocal in his criticisms of the reaction from Harvard student organizations and university leadership following Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel.

Many CEOs have asked me if @harvard will release a list identifying the Harvard groups that issued the letter blaming Israel for the heinous Hamas acts. This is to ensure that we don’t hire their members by mistake.

The names of those who signed the letter should be released so that the public can know their opinions.

It is not acceptable to use a corporate shield as a cover when making statements in support of terrorists who have, as we know, beheaded babies and committed other inconceivably vile acts.

Ackman, following the disgraceful performance of the Harvard, MIT, and U Penn Presidents on Tuesday, called for all of them to resign. Ackman slammed the presidents in a long Twitter/X posting and the rot that has engulfed once-respected institutions of higher learning.

At today’s hearing of the Congress on antisemitism, the presidents of @Harvard, @MIT, and @Penn, were asked this question:

Is it against the code of conduct, or any rules of your university regarding bullying, harassment, or calling for the genocide of Jews?

Their answers reflect the moral bankruptcy of Gay, Magill, and Kornbluth.

The representative @EliseStefanik, was so surprised by the answers she asked them all the same questions over and again. They gave the same answer each time.

They said:

It depends on the context and “whether the speech becomes conduct”, that is to say, killing Jews.

This is the most remarkable testimony that has ever been given in Congress.

“the deliberate killing of a large group of people belonging to a certain nation or ethnicity to destroy this nation or group”.

The answers of the presidents reflect the educational, moral, and ethical failures in certain elite educational institutions. This is due to their leadership failings.

Do not take my word as gospel.

Watch the next three minutes. You will reach my location by the end.

All of them must resign out of disgrace.

If the CEO of any of our companies answered similarly, they would be toast within an hour.

Why has antisemitism spread across campuses and the world?

Due to leaders such as President Gay Magill Kornbluth, who believe that genocide is dependent on context.

It is amazing to think that they are leaders of Ivy League schools who are responsible for educating our brightest and best.

Our congressional leaders should be commended for their moral clarity and leadership in the statements they made, the questions they posed, and the respect with which they conducted the meeting.

It was a masterclass in how our government should work and our democracy.

Please watch the whole hearing if you have time. The three witnesses acted like hostile witnesses throughout the hearing. They showed a deep disdain for Congress by their smiles and shrugs, and refused to give simple yes/no answers.

It’s hard to add anything. None of these women are really going to resign. They are unlikely to feel any shame at all over their testimony. Ackman sums up the situation perfectly when he states: “The Presidents’ Answers reflect the profound moral and ethical failings that pervade some of our elite institutions, due in large part to failed leadership.”
