When the news broke that President Joe Biden would be delivering remarks at the funeral of Sandra Day O’Connor, former Supreme Court justice, across the country, fingers were crossed.
O’Connor passed away on December 1st at the age of 93. O’Connor was appointed by Ronald Reagan as the first female to serve on the United States Supreme Court.
Biden’s gaffes, incoherence, and tendency to make mistakes make him the last person to invite to talk about any topic, especially when it comes to a serious event that requires sobriety.

Biden managed to get her name right and that she was the Court’s first female member without mentioning himself or checking the time. He did better than usual because he stuck to his notes, and didn’t freelance. The long weekend in Delaware may have helped. He did apologize in church for his “language.”

Biden said that O’Connor had “empowered many generations of women” in all aspects of American life. She also proved that a female could accomplish anything that a male could, and “many times even better.” Excuse me Father.” The priest then apologized for his “hell” comment.
He praised her for “her desire for civility” which is ironic considering his attacks and demonization of millions of Americans who have different political views than him. Biden’s efforts were impressive, especially when you consider the number of speeches and events in which he has gone off on bizarre tangents or misidentified individuals who are members of his administration.
